A summer update to Canada’s travel advisory for the United States, posted June 3, 2025, offered a reminder for Canadians to be well-prepared before crossing the border.
The most recent advisory, issued December 24, 2025, continues to classify the U.S. travel risk level as “Take normal security precautions.” However, the update adds new details on natural disasters and climate risks and reinforces ongoing safety guidance for Canadians crossing the border.
